As a chemical and process engineer you could become involved with nuclear industrial companies, environmental departments, local and government agencies, and major funding bodies.

Our Industrial Advisory Committee helps ensure our courses are up-to-date with the modern practices and techniques that will enable you to succeed in industry upon graduation. Many of our Chemical Engineering courses are accredited by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE).
Our Chemical Engineering courses share a common first two years. This means you have the freedom to switch courses up until the end of your second year. You also have the option of extending your studies through the Study Abroad and industrial placement year options.
Laboratory classes, project work and fieldwork allow you to gain hands-on experience, investigating and applying material from your lectures and tutorials to real-life work situations.
