The University of Leeds is a truly global institution, ranked in the top 50 of the most international universities (2018). Much of this success has come from forging partnerships with institutions around the world.

The University’s Joint Engineering School, hosted at South West Jiao Tong University, is a leading example of how two high-achieving partners can work together to improve research, teaching and student experience opportunities.  The SWJTU-Leeds Joint School, based in Chengdu, offers a unique UK-Chinese engineering curriculum and is the first overseas School to be set up by the University of Leeds. Read more.
