The Research Excellence Framework (REF2014) placed us second in the UK for Mechanical Engineering with 100% of our research having either ‘outstanding’ or ‘very considerable’ impact.

You’ll have the opportunity to attend industry talks, seminars and conferences where you’ll meet and network with colleagues from industry and academia. Many of our funded projects are in collaboration with our industrial partners.
