Sherry Kwabla Amedorme is currently pursuing PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Leeds, UK. He obtained BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana. In addition, he holds a Certificate in Technology Education from the University Education, Winneba as well as City and Guilds of London Institute Motor Vehicle Technicians 3 Certificate with distinctions from Accra Polytechnic. He also teaches Automotive Technology Education at the University of Education, Winneba, Ghana.
His research area is application of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) in internal combustion engines and vehicle systems. The commercial CFD packages that he uses are STAR-CCM+, ANSYS FLUENT, CFX, STAR-CD, GT-POWER, CONVERGE CFD, EnSight and Paraview in modelling injection and analysing gasoline direct injection (GDI) engines, vehicle aerodynamics, multiphase flow, two-phase flow etc. He also uses Solidworks for his CAD modelling and abaqus for finite element analysis. He is a member of Ghana Institution of Engineers (GhIE).
