EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Complex Particulate Products and Processes
- Funded PhD project: UK and EU
- Value: A full standard studentship consists of academic fees (£4,195 in Session 2017/18), together with a maintenance grant (£14,553 in Session 2017/18) paid at standard Research Council rates and a Research Training Support Grant (RTSG).
Generally, UK students will be eligible for a full award and other European Union applicants will be eligible for an award paying academic fees and RTSG only, except in cases where residency in the UK has been established for more than 3 years prior to the start of the programme of study.

Please note that full applications received before a specific deadline may be considered for an early interview. Candidates invited for interview will be asked to prepare a short presentation highlighting a research topic of their choice.

As a CDT cP³ PhD student, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will develop innovative problem-led research skills that are focused on the design, development and manufacture of high quality and high added-value particulate products. Our candidates study a 4 year integrated PhD and Masters programme that equips them with the training and skills they need to pursue a related career in academia or industry.
