Dr Zia Wadud

Profile

Dr. Wadud works at the junction of transport, energy and the enrivrnment. He holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master in Development Technologies from the University of Melborune. Prior to his appointment at the University of Leeds, he had worked at the Department of Civil Engineering at Bangladesh University of Technology, Department of Architecture at the University of Cambridge and Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  

At Leeds, Dr. Wadud holds a joint appointment with Institute for Transport Studies, where he leads the Sustaniable Transport Policy Research Group.

Dr Wadud teaches at the School of Chemical and Process Engineering and the Institute for Transport Studies. He also supervises student dissertations at undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels at ITS, SCAPE, Civil Engg and the Business School.
