Why did you decide to study at the University of Leeds?

The University of Leeds had a range of dynamic master’s programmes for me to choose from, and based on my personal interests, I decided to study at the University of Leeds because it had Advanced Computer Science which focuses on Intelligent Systems, the programme that I am particularly interested in.

What has been the best aspect of studying on your course and at the University and why?

The structure of modules is very rigorous and professional, it’s more concentrated on specific fields of computer science, which gives me more chance to learn relevant knowledge.

Tell us about some of the exciting projects you have completed so far?

Although I didn’t do any big projects so far, some of my coursework gives me a good chance to practice programming skills, and enables me to combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications.

What does Leeds as a city have to offer students?

Infrastructure is necessary, I like to work out, so The Edge gym provides me a technical place to work out, and the Leeds market provides most fresh goods weekly.

What are your ambitions for the future?

I will try my best to apply for Phd, which will still focus on computer science, and find a wonderful job to start my career.

What experiences at Leeds do you think will help you in your future career?

I didn’t try any internship before in Leeds, but I think there are many chances out there waiting for me, which will be very helpful.

What would you say to students coming to do the same course?

Study hard on every module, try to follow the lecturer in the class so you will feel easier while studying by yourself. And make an efficient timetable that can help you to manage your time.
