Tell us about some of the exciting projects you have completed.

I found my master’s project really interesting. It inspired me to think out of the box in terms of the engineering world. It also taught me how to communicate properly to people without a technical background. I was impressed by the opportunities to apply business techniques we studied to the real world. And at the end, that’s what we’re supposed to do in our jobs.

What does Leeds as a city have to offer students?

The city of Leeds offers everything. It is peaceful as a town, but also full of stores and enjoyable activities. As well as restaurants, cinemas, pubs, and discos, it has parks for when you want to exercise, or just to be in contact with nature.

I have enjoyed doing group work with people from China, Germany, England, and Taiwan. This was an interesting activity that improved my communication skills and gave me confidence. I now have the skills I need to speak with people from different cultures and backgrounds in the future.

Moreover, my studies about innovation and communication changed the way I see the world in terms of industry applications. It helped me to understand how technology is perceived form a business point of view.
